Your instruction for us to proceed and your payment of a deposit will confirm to us that the quote is acceptable to you.

2. Jobs undertaken with your measurements
Although we will give you full guidance how to take accurate measurements for any work that you wish us to do for you, you must accept full responsibility for their accuracy. Any errors in the measurements that result in the need to alter, or remake will incur a cost up to the full initial cost of the job.
3. Fabrics
We can supply from a wide range of quality fabrics for the job you wish us to do. You may provide your own fabric if we approve it as suitable for the job required. Where you do provide your own fabric, we will add 20% to the cost of our time for completing the job.

8. Returns and Refunds
All the items we produce are bespoke and made to measure. No returns or refunds can be accepted unless there is a fault in the size, operation or quality of the item. Your statutory rights are not affected by this term. Please note that the following tolerances apply to the products made by us, and any item supplied within these tolerances is not considered to be faulty.

1. Size tolerance – the unstructured nature of fabric can mean that even with accurate measuring and cutting, there is an industry accepted tolerance for goods at the point of installation. This tolerance of + / -1cm for the width or length of blinds and a + / - 3cm for the width or length of curtains is not considered a fault against the specification provided to the customer at the point of order.
2. Fabric choice – whilst we often work with you to help you to select fabrics, any choice of fabric is ultimately the customer’s responsibility. Sometimes smaller fabric samples are not a full representation of the fabric’s appearance on a completed job. It is your responsibility to ensure that your choice of fabric is acceptable to you.
3. Shrinkage / expansion / distortion – environmental factors including heat, cold and humidity may affect fabric over time and cause items to spring back up or drop in length. Fabric may also twist and distort. This is considered an intrinsic part of the nature of the materials used in soft furnishings, and such occurrences cannot be considered a fault of manufacture. If at the time of installation, items fall within the above size tolerances, are hanging properly and are accepted by the customer, any subsequent alteration needed to rectify shrinkage, expansion or distortion will incur a cost to the customer.
4. Fading – any fabric fading caused by exposure to UV light or other factors is not considered a product fault.
5. Blackout and light bleed - whilst blackout lining provides a great deal of light blockage, there will always be some light bleed. This may be around the sides, top or bottom of the blind itself, or through any stitching that must be made through the fabric of the blind as part of manufacture. By hand finishing all our curtains and blinds, we aim to keep such light bleed to a minimum, but it can be more visible on certain fabrics such as linens or loosely woven cottons. Any light bleed as described above is unavoidable and therefore not considered a fault.
6. Pattern - fabric patterns may not always be straight and will often run out towards the edges of the fabric. Fabric manufacturers work within industry accepted run-off tolerances. We will make every reasonable effort to make them look as straight as possible and will choose whether the pattern runs out at the top, bottom or the sides depending on which looks best. Please also be aware that some fabrics do not pattern match correctly because of this run off. When this occurs, we will always pattern match seams from the top however, the pattern may run out down the join. Any such pattern run offs are not considered faults.
7. Slip covers - these are removable covers made onto the existing upholstery and can only be as good as the furniture underneath. Any faults in the furniture can show in the cover. Slipcovers do not look like reupholstery and can show wrinkles or sag in places depending on the shape and quality of the underlying furniture. These are not considered to be faults.
